CLASSES
BrightLights Theatre School opened its first school in Loughborough in 2011, and provides top quality, affordable performing arts training for young people.
We now have six schools offering eight different sessions throughout the week in both Loughborough and Coalville.
PERFORMANCES
Every year our students perform a full length, fully staged production on a professional stage, with professional set, costume, sound and lighting design! These shows are funded purely by ticket sales, there is no "show fee" or any extra cost to our parents.
Each student performs to up to a thousand people, and we pride ourselves on the professionalism of these performances and the incredible experience they provide for our young people.
Previous shows include "Legally Blonde", "Chicago", "Beauty and the Beast", "Grease", High School Musical", "Calamity Jane", "Annie" and many more!
TEACHERS
All of our Main School teachers work professionally at the highest level as performers themselves, something we believe makes us unique in the area.
From London's West End to International Comedy Festivals, our students are taught every week by people who perform for a living.
We also have regular guest teachers from across the industry, ranging from the Movement Director of 'War Horse' to the Casting Director of 'Game of Thrones', cast members of 'Les Misérables', 'The Lion King', 'Wicked', 'Mamma Mia', 'Frozen' and many many more.
